◎Takeoka, Futtsu City 、 Buddhist Statues of Mihashira Shrine and Kubo Shrine in Kamakura

The eleven-faced Kannon statue at Hogenji ( Kamikarasuda, Kisarazu City ) is a Buddhist statue of excellent technique of the early Muromachi period.
Recently, ( a Buddha statue ) deeply related to this statue was discovered at Mihashira Shrine in Takeoka, Futtsu City, and
the relationship between the Buddhist temple once located in Takeoka and the Kamakura lord ・ Ashikaga of the Muromachi Period is now known.
We will talk about the new discovery.
