Sawtooth Mountain, which straddles Futtsu City and Kyonan Town in Chiba Prefecture, has been selected by the Agency for Cultural Affairs as a "Japan Heritage Candidate Area" in 2020, and is engaged in a variety of activities in preparation for full recognition as a "Japan Heritage" site.
This year, 2023, will be the last year of our efforts as a candidate area, and we would like to create an opportunity to share the activities we have been engaged in for the past three years and our future prospects, to spread awareness of the "Sawtooth Mountain as a Japan Heritage Site" and to rediscover the charm of "Sawtooth Mountain" with many people.
